With new releases from their own brand left and right, Althea Korea is well on its way to carving out a permanent place in the international Kbeauty scene. But what totally surprised me—in an exciting way, of course—was when one of their most recent launches ventured into the fragrance category before they moved onto makeup. Althea Petal Velvet Sunaway

Am I a picky sunscreen user? Yes. Ever since discovering one of my faves back in 2014, I’ve become much more specific with what I look for. No sticky, heavy formulas that smell like chlorine please! And after trying Althea Korea’s wonderful basic skincare line, I have to say that I have doubly high expectations for the brand’s Petal Velvet Sunaway SPF50+ PA ++++ (PHP 480).
