Here’s the truth: I aspire to one day own the iconic Nars Orgasm blush. I would’ve been closer to that dream had I not spent the money on Koh Gen Do Maifanshi Aqua Foundation that went on sale. While I’d never regret getting KGD, I’m left with just enough to buy a dupe instead. Meet In2It Waterproof Blush Set in Affinity (PHP 379.75)
Oldie but goodie?
Ingredients
As with my In2It eye shadow, the entire thing was sealed in shrink wrap. Inside is the plastic compact topped off with an opaque white lid with silver swirly embellishments. Open the compact and you’ll be greeted with a big square mirror that makes it great for travel. (Meaning, if you just needed one mirror for your overnight bag, this’ll do.) The old packaging with the transparent plastic lid may have looked more posh, but we gotta make room for the mirror! One more thing, the biggest issue I’ve had with In2It concerns the brittleness of the plastic and metal hinges that eventually crumbles before I finish the makeup. I don’t know if that’ll be the case for this one as well, but it did happen to my eye shadow and blush from before.
Tricky hinges
*Had to use flash to capture the shimmer
It’s a tricolor blush that can be used for highlight, color, and contour. Because I don’t spend enough time on the makeup table to use each individually, I just take the sales associate’s tip and swirl the brush over ALL three colors to get a good mix going. To be fair, it’s never come on splotchy even though I use all three shades at once. On the cheeks, I get a subtle peach-gold that’s perfect for summer. It’s really subtle, so morena skintones may get more of the gold flecks than the peach as I’ve read from Everything Etcetera’s review. Compared with the luxe option, Nars’ Orgasm has more pink.

On the basis of longevity, I have to say that this is the longest-lasting I’ve tried so far. No touch-ups required. I can wear this the whole day outside, come back in, and it stays on steadfastly. So when it comes to value-for-money, I have to give it a hundred “yes!” points.
In2It, in my humble opinion, is so underrated. It’s a brand with quality products that often gets eclipsed by newcomers, but it’s still one of my go-to brands for when I want something that stays on.
Rating: 5/5 Great product to try for when you’re on vacation and can’t retouch that often. Affinity, in particular, is a very summer-friendly color.
