I’m not much of an eyelid primer user, since the eyeshadows I have on heavy rotation pretty much wear well even without assistance. But because I also want to get more use out of my less pigmented and/or creasy eyeshadow palettes, I sprang for the Issy Eyeshadow and Concealer Base (P199 / 27ml).

It’s been a while since I last reviewed a Maybelline mascara. 2017, to be exact. For several years, this old favorite of mine was replaced with Kbeauty brands. But fast forward to 2023, and they’ve definitely made their presence known again with the Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High Mascara (P469 / 6ml).

Merzy The First Pen Eyeliner

I’m happy to report that I have been more consistent with my makeup application these days. (It only took two years!) But my idea of a fully done face has shifted from medium coverage to nude with defined eyes. Brow pencil and liquid liner is the fastest way to achieve that, and my current go-to is Merzy The First Pen Eyeliner in P2 Brownie (PHP 332 / USD 9).

Bask Botanik Under Eye Night Roller

I just ran out of eye cream, and the product that replaced it in my routine has gone down a slightly  different path… Have you ever tried a facial oil, but for the eyes? I can now officially say that I have, and my first experience is with the Bask Botanik Under-Eye Night Roller (P300 / 10 ml).
